If you are going to nature or want to set a buffet table, or just want to cook something quick and tasty - choose pita bread with filling.

Step 1
The first thing you need to do is choose pita bread. It must be thin and fresh. When buying, try rolling it up with a tight tube. If it works out and there are no cracks or breaks, lavash is suitable.
Step 2
In fact, the list of possible fillings for pita bread is simply huge. Here you will find a recipe for making the simplest, but very tasty lavash - lavash with herbs.
Step 3
Take the greens (you can make several bouquets of your choice - for each sheet of pita bread):
- cilantro and parsley;
- dill, parsley, pepper;
- parsley, dill, green onions;
- basil, parsley, pepper, oregano, marjoram.
The most delicate of them is lavash with cilantro, very spicy and aromatic - with basil or green onions.
Rinse the greens thoroughly, chop finely.
Step 4
To taste, add 1-2 large or 2-4 small cloves of garlic to each sheet of pita bread, chopped on a fine grater or using a garlic press.
Step 5
Add salt and spices to taste. Mix thoroughly.
Step 6
Add Provencal mayonnaise; there should be enough to apply it in an even thin layer on pita bread (approximately 100 ml per sheet).
Mix everything again.
Step 7
Apply the resulting mass to the pita bread to the very edges. To taste, pita bread can be sprinkled with lemon juice.
Roll a sheet of pita bread so that you get a strip (if there are more fillings, then you can roll it up with a roll) with a width of 5-7 cm. Place in a closed container or plastic bag and leave to soak in the refrigerator for 6-7 hours.
Step 8
Take the pita bread out of the refrigerator and cut it into strips 3-4cm wide. You can serve pita bread by laying it on lettuce leaves.
Step 9
After you have appreciated the pita bread with herbs, you can safely start experimenting with the filling. You can add cheese (regular, processed, smoked), tomatoes, bell peppers, olives, ham, salmon, caviar, chopped mushrooms to it.
Any salad dressed with mayonnaise or sour cream can be an excellent filling.
