The process of juicing vegetables and fruits through modern juicers takes a minimum of time. There are other alternative ways to get juice if you have not yet acquired a household appliance. In any case, freshly squeezed juice is much more useful than the purchased one in tetra packets. In addition, it is so pleasant to prepare a healthy drink on your own.
Instructions
Step 1
You can squeeze the juice from citrus fruits through a special attachment for this type of fruit on food processors. To do this, rinse the fruit thoroughly in running water, cut it in half. Install the juice squeezer on the food processor. Hold the half of the fruit with the special plastic tip while pressing lightly on it. Turn on the juicing mode for fresh citrus juice with pulp.
Step 2
You should squeeze vegetables and fruits such as carrots, cabbage, pineapple, grapes, apples, pears, beets using the normal juicer mode. Vegetables and fruits are washed, peeled, cut into pieces, which will go to the compartment for the delivery of products on a juicer. Remove large, tough seeds from fruits and vegetables before placing them.
Step 3
If you don't have a juicer, use the old but proven method - squeezing the juice through cheesecloth. To do this, grate the necessary vegetables and fruits on a fine grater. Place part of the mass on a double layer of cheesecloth, twist it on top, squeeze the juice out of the mass with your hand through cheesecloth into a container.
Step 4
Prepare juices just before you drink them. Freshly squeezed juice is not stored for a long time. This rule does not only apply to beet juice, which must be allowed to stand on the table or in the refrigerator for an hour before consumption.
Step 5
Mix juices from different vegetables and fruits. This way you can diversify the taste of your drinks and your food. Cabbage juice or carrot juice, for example, go well with apple or pear juice. Pineapple juice is in harmony with apple and orange juice. Tomato with cucumber. Lemon with orange.
