During the holidays, in many homes, it is customary to consume alcoholic beverages not only those bought in the store, but also of their own production. Self-made cocktails and liqueurs are as popular as pre-made drinks.

For liquor, you need simple ingredients that are not hard to find in stores. 50 g of dried apricots, black and white raisins, an orange, a cinnamon stick, a pinch of ginger, cardamom, 3-4 cloves and star anise stars each, a vanilla pod. You will also need coarse crystalline sugar - 150 g, and half a liter of vodka. If you want to prepare liqueur for a celebration, you need to start about a couple of weeks in advance.

You will need a glass jar to make liquor. Wash dried fruits and put inside, add cardamom, ginger, chopped nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves. Cut the vanilla pod once lengthwise and once across. Wash the orange in hot water. In this case, it is advisable to use a brush - it will help to remove the wax that covers the fruits (it is applied in order to increase their shelf life). Now peel off the zest from the orange, while trying not to touch the white part. Put the cut in a jar, squeeze out the orange juice there. Cover everything with sugar.

Fill all the ingredients with vodka. Its quality must be good. Leave the jar in a cool place for a couple of weeks. Its contents must be stirred periodically so that the sugar can dissolve completely. When this time has passed, drain the liquid from the jar. The dried fruit can then be used for pies or other baked goods.

The liqueur turns out the tastier the longer it is infused. Serve with a cinnamon stick and ice, or use lemon mugs for decoration.
