If you go to India, you will certainly try this unusual Ayurvedic drink, which is tea with milk and spices. But it is not difficult to prepare it at home.
It is necessary
- For 2 servings:
- 1, 5 cups of boiling water, 0, 5 cups of milk 3, 2% fat, 2 (or more) teaspoons of black tea, sugar, honey or condensed milk to taste, spices: powdered cardamom - 1 teaspoon (or 2-3 pods), cloves - 5 pcs., grated nutmeg - on the tip of a knife, ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon, or 1 stick of whole cinnamon, grated or ground ginger - 1/2 teaspoon, anise - 1/2 teaspoon. You can find ready-made spice mix for masala tea in the store.
Instructions
Step 1
We grind the spices that you take whole (ginger, cardamom) in a mortar, so they completely give off the aroma.
Step 2
We put the water on the fire, add spices and sugar a few seconds before boiling. We cook all this for 1 minute.
Step 3
Pour tea with this mixture. We are waiting for about 5 minutes for it to brew.
Step 4
Add warmed milk, filter. Tea is ready!
