Pike, cooked in the oven, is a very tasty dish that is suitable for a festive table or just for a family dinner. Here are three recipes: they are all pretty simple, and the result is sure to delight you, your family, and your guests.
Pike in the oven in foil
To prepare this dish, you will need pike, 200 grams of mayonnaise, one onion, one medium carrot, a clove of garlic, some herbs, 100 grams of olives, lemon, tomato, salt and pepper to taste, and foil.
To begin with, we clean the pike from the scales, gut it. Next, fry the onions and carrots in sunflower or other vegetable oil. We coat the fish with mayonnaise, put fried vegetables on top of it. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Then we wrap it in foil and place it in a preheated oven with a temperature of 220 degrees. We are waiting for 45 minutes. Then we take it out of the oven, let the pike cool down a little and put it whole on a dish. You can put chopped tomatoes and lemon on top for beauty.
Pike in the sleeve in the oven
In order to prepare this dish, you will need a pike, an onion, one bell pepper, several tomatoes, lemon, spices and oil to taste.
First, grind the vegetables, fill them with lemon juice. It is best to use half a lemon to prevent the blues from becoming too sour. Add spices to taste and mix. Then we clean the fish, rub it with salt, spices, put the previously prepared mixture of vegetables inside, and then fix it with something so that the filling does not fall out of the belly.
Place the pike on a greased baking sheet or baking dish, which can also be garnished with lemon slices. We pack all this in a bag, tie it, leave holes in the upper part. Place it in a cold oven and turn it on. The dish is baked for 40 minutes at 200 degrees after being heated.
Fish royally (pike version)
This famous and very tasty dish is prepared not only from pike, but also from other types of fish, such as pink salmon, salmon, sturgeon, pike perch, trout and others. But, so that you have no doubts, we note that the pike option is very good.
For cooking, you will need a pike (preferably 2-3 kilograms), a pound of mushrooms, two carrots, two onions, a few tablespoons of vegetable oil, lemon, salt, black pepper (you can do without it), coriander (also to taste), cream.
First, chop the mushrooms, fry them in a pan. towards the end of frying, add finely chopped onions to them, and then grated carrots. Salt, pepper, cook the mixture for a few more minutes, then add cream and mix.
We clean the fish. gutted, while leaving the head and tail, wash. We dry it. Inside, we make small deep cuts and place a lemon in them, previously cut into quarters or halves of rings. Salt, sprinkle with spices. Stuffing with mushrooms. We fasten the incision so that the filling does not come out.
Wrap the blues in foil and place in the oven (160 degrees). We bake an hour. Toward the end of this time, open the foil, increase the temperature slightly (up to 200 degrees) and bake until golden brown. Serve beautifully decorated with lemon wedges, vegetables, mushrooms, capers, olives and other goodies.
