Pike perch is an incredibly tasty fish high in various vitamins and minerals. Its plus is that it has few bones and it goes well with absolutely any side dishes, so it is loved not only by adults, but also by children.

- - 300 grams of thick sour cream;
- - one lemon;

So, before you bake this fish in the oven, you need to choose the right one. It is worth remembering that fish that has not been frozen is much healthier and tastier, and that one that has shiny eyes and pink gills is considered to be of higher quality.

Next, the fish needs to be cleaned. The easiest way to remove the scales is to lower the pike perch into the water. Also, when cleaning, you need to remove the insides of the fish and fins.

After cleaning, you can start preparing the pike perch for baking. So, you need to make rather deep cuts on both sides of the fish with the help of a small sharp knife, then squeeze the juice of one lemon and pour over the carcasses. At this stage, you need to try to get as much juice as possible into the cuts. After this procedure, rub the fish liberally with salt and pepper and let stand for a few minutes.

Peel the onions, cut into strips and fry in a frying pan until appetizing golden brown. Mix sour cream with salt (or spices, herbs), grease all the fish with it, then fold the fried onions inside the fish.

Next, the fish must be put in foil, carefully wrap the edges of the foil and put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30 minutes. Then the fish must be taken out, unrolled, sprinkled with pre-grated cheese on top and baked for another 10 minutes. It is worth remembering that it is unnecessary to wrap the dish in foil the second time. The dish is ready, it can be served with absolutely any side dish.
