Prepare food. Measure out the required amount of sugar and flour, remove the eggs from the refrigerator in advance (they should be at room temperature). Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Remove the tough skin, seeds and any partitions. Cut the apples into thin half slices. To keep them from darkening while you cook the dough, sprinkle them with lemon juice.

Beat eggs. Break them into a deep bowl and shake lightly. Add sugar to the eggs and beat with a mixer for at least five minutes (you can also use a blender, or whisk the mixture quickly with a fork). The sugar should completely dissolve, and a white foam will appear on top.

Add flour to the dough. Be careful - add flour gradually, stirring slightly. You do not need to beat the dough after adding flour to it, otherwise the cake will not rise.

Take a baking dish. Thoroughly coat the bottom and rim of the pan with butter so that your cake does not burn and can be easily removed after cooking.

Place the apples, top them with dough. There are several options for the location of apples in a pie. You can also make an open pie - pour the dough, and on top of it lay the apple slices beautifully so that they fit snugly together. Or make several layers of fruit: pour a little dough into the mold, put a layer of apples, then again the dough, again the apples and on top again the dough.

Try to diversify the classic charlotte. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on the apple layers. You can also add some honey.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place a mold with dough and apples in it. Bake the pie for 35-40 minutes. For the first half hour of cooking, do not open the oven door so that the cake does not fall off. Use a toothpick to check if the cake is cooked. Pierce the pie with it, if the dough sticks and remains on the stick, then leave the pie for another 10 minutes.
