It is necessary

    • 2 tbsp semolina;
    • 0.5 liters of milk;
    • 2 tsp Sahara;
    • a pinch of salt;
    • a small saucepan with a thick bottom;
    • butter
    • honey
    • cinnamon
    • jam - to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare a saucepan in which you will cook porridge. To prepare semolina, you need enameled dishes with a thick bottom. Rinse the saucepan with cold water before use to prevent the porridge from burning.

Step 2

Pour milk into a saucepan and place over low heat. Do not move too far from the stove, as milk boils very quickly and can "run away". To prepare semolina porridge, you can use a mixture of milk and water, and even condensed milk diluted with boiling water (in this case, you should not add sugar), the taste of the finished porridge will be no worse.

Step 3

As soon as the milk boils, reduce the heat to low, add salt and granulated sugar and slowly begin to pour in the semolina. There are several ways to prevent lumps from forming in porridge. The first and the simplest one is to pour the semolina in a thin stream, stirring continuously with a spoon. The second way is to sift the cereal into the pan through a sieve, in which case it will be distributed more evenly. And finally, the third way is to add a small amount of cool water to the semolina and mix thoroughly, and then transfer to a saucepan with boiling milk.

Step 4

After you add semolina to the pan, the porridge requires your constant monitoring. Stir the contents of the pan continuously for three minutes, avoiding the appearance of lumps. At the same time, make sure that there is no violent boiling.

Step 5

Once the porridge has thickened, turn off the heat and cover the pan with a lid. To "reach", semolina should stand like this for 10-15 minutes. It is then that it acquires a special taste and consistency, so you should not skip this step when preparing it, even if you are in a hurry.

Step 6

Put the prepared porridge on plates and add butter, honey, jam, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, berries or pieces of fruit to taste.
