The taste of cottage cheese casserole is familiar to many from childhood. After all, grandmothers and mothers loved to bake it for breakfast. And the menu in kindergartens necessarily included this product. Thanks to the presence of cottage cheese, the treat will certainly benefit, especially the growing body. The casserole prepared in this way turns out to be tall, airy, tender, reminiscent of marshmallows.

It is necessary

  • - cottage cheese - 0.5 kg;
  • - starch - 2 tbsp. l. with a slide;
  • - sugar - 150 g;
  • - chicken eggs - 4 pcs.;
  • - sour cream with a fat content of 20% - 2 tbsp. l. with a slide;
  • - vanilla sugar or vanillin - 1 sachet;
  • - butter - 5 g;
  • - baking dish;
  • - blender, mixer.

Instructions

Step 1

Transfer the curd to a bowl. If it is grainy, grind it with a hand blender or through a sieve until smooth.

Step 2

Crack the chicken eggs by separating the whites from the yolks. Pour the whites into a clean, dry dish and refrigerate. And put the yolks in a bowl of cottage cheese.

Step 3

Add sour cream, starch and vanilla sugar to the curd and yolks. Mix everything thoroughly with a spoon or blender.

Step 4

When the proteins have cooled slightly, remove them from the refrigerator and add granulated sugar to them. They will need to be beaten well until they form stable white peaks. It is most convenient to use the mixer at maximum speed. You can also achieve the desired result with a blender with a whisk attachment, if you beat the mass in a narrow long bowl, for example, in a cocktail glass. These glasses are usually included.

Step 5

Transfer the whipped whites to the bowl to the curd mixture. It is highly discouraged to use electrical appliances at this stage. To get an airy casserole, gently stir everything with a spoon or spatula.

Step 6

Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees. While it is warming up, take a baking dish, brush with a piece of butter and put the curd mass into it, smoothing it over the surface.

Step 7

Send the pan to the preheated oven and bake the curd casserole for about 40 minutes until tender. Serve it with jam, jam, condensed milk or dried fruit.
