Pollock with milk

The cooking method practically does not differ from the traditional fried, but there is one point: when the fish is ready, add 0.5 tbsp. milk, cover and leave for 5-7 minutes. The pulp will become unusually tender and a pleasant sweetish aftertaste will appear.

Pollock in batter

To do this, you need a fish fillet, you can make it yourself, carefully separating the pulp from the bones.

For batter you will need:

  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Salt - 1/3 tsp
  • Soda - ¼ tsp
  • Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
  • Flour - how much it will take.

Beat the eggs with salt and soda until smooth, add mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. Pour the flour little by little, stirring actively so that no lumps form. The batter should be slightly thicker than sour cream.

We put a deep frying pan on the fire, pour in refined sunflower oil, bring to a boil.

Cut the fillets into pieces about 3 * 4cm in size, gently dip them in the batter and put them in the pan, cover with a lid. The fire should be moderate. Fry for 5-6 minutes on each side, put the fish on a paper napkin so that the glass has excess oil. The dish is served both hot and cold.
