Kefir dough is a very common recipe. It is made both for pies and for pies and all kinds of pies. One of the original recipes for such a dough is a recipe without the addition of flour. The way to prepare it is quite simple.

It is necessary

    • • Kefir - 1 glass
    • • Semolina - 1 glass (plus a couple of spoons for sprinkling)
    • • Sugar - 6 tablespoons
    • • Baking soda - ½ teaspoon
    • • Chicken egg - 1 pc
    • • Butter - 150 g

Instructions

Step 1

Melt the butter and cool slightly.

Step 2

Mix granulated sugar with semolina and grind this mixture to a powdery consistency. This can be done in a blender or food processor.

Step 3

Then add kefir to this powder and beat the resulting mixture well with a mixer.

Step 4

As soon as the kefir-semolina mixture becomes homogeneous, add soda to it (if desired, you can extinguish it) and an egg. Alternatively, you can use baking powder instead of baking soda (the amount is determined according to the directions on the package).

Step 5

Beat the mixture again with a mixer.

Step 6

The last product that is added to this dough should be melted, but already slightly cooled down butter. When introducing it, the dough must be constantly stirred.

Step 7

After all the ingredients have been added, the resulting dough is beaten well for the last time and left alone for 15 - 20 minutes. This is necessary in order for the semolina to swell a little.

Step 8

While the semolina is swelling, preheat the oven to 175 ° C.

Step 9

Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with dry semolina. This is done so that the cake will easily come off the mold in the future.

Step 10

As soon as the volume of the dough increases slightly (this means that the semolina is swollen), transfer it to the prepared form and put in the oven for 35 - 45 minutes.

Step 11

You can check the readiness of the cake with a toothpick.

Step 12

This pie goes very well with any jams and preserves.

Step 13

If desired, you can add raisins or any other dried fruits to it. Or fresh berries, fruits and even chocolate pieces.
