We are all used to making porridge from oatmeal. But from this cereal you can make delicious, yet healthy treats.
Several delicious desserts can be made from oatmeal: pancakes, charlotte, kozinaki and cookies.
1. Fritters
Prepare porridge with 1 glass of rolled oats and 2 glasses of water and let cool. Add 1 tbsp. spoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons of flour and yolks from two eggs. In a separate bowl, beat the whites until frothy. Put it all together. Bake pancakes in a skillet with vegetable oil in the usual way.
2. Charlotte
Whisk 4 egg whites in a bowl, gently add 2/3 cup sugar in small portions. Then add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 tsp. flour and 1 glass of rolled oats. Knead the dough. Peel the apples and chop finely together with the skin. Place them in a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
3. Kozinaki
Fry 1 cup of rolled oats in a skillet without oil, stir constantly with a spatula for 10 minutes. Grind 2 tbsp. tablespoons of raw peanuts. In a separate skillet, melt 1 cup of sugar, add 150 g of butter and stir everything. Combine the mixture with rolled oats and nuts. Put the mass in the mold, having previously laid it with parchment. When the kozinaki have cooled down, you can eat them.
4. Cookies
Beat 2 eggs with 1 cup sugar in a cup. Add 150 g of melted butter. Then add 2 cups oatmeal, 5 tbsp. tablespoons of flour and 1/2 teaspoon of soda. Stir the dough and spoon onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
