Cutlets are the favorite dish of almost every family. You can cook it for a whole month without ever repeating it. After all, there are a lot of recipes in which there can be completely different meat and a wide variety of fillers. Pumpkin and meat patties are one such recipe.
Ingredients:
- 600 g of beef;
- 250 g baked pumpkin;
- 1 egg yolk;
- 2 onions;
- breadcrumbs;
- 40 ml heavy cream;
- sunflower oil;
- ½ teaspoon black pepper, salt.
Preparation:
- Rinse the meat thoroughly, removing all unwanted veins and films, dry, cut into large pieces.
- Wash the pumpkin, remove the peel and seeds, place in a mold and send to the oven, bake until tender. Then remove from the oven, cool and cut into large pieces.
- Peel the onion, wash, divide with a knife into several large slices.
- Pass all prepared ingredients through a large grinder and mix until smooth.
- Add breadcrumbs, egg yolk and cream to the pumpkin and meat mince, mix everything, season with pepper and salt to taste.
- Knead the finished minced meat and beat it well so that it thickens, then place it in a bowl and send it to the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- After an hour, remove the minced meat from the refrigerator and divide it into portions.
- Form small cutlets from the pieces with wet hands and put them on a board.
- Pour oil into a frying pan and heat it up. Pour the remaining bread crumbs into a plate.
- All cutlets in turn are breaded in breadcrumbs, put in hot oil and fry on both sides until a dark appetizing crust. Note that it is recommended to fry on medium heat for 4 minutes on each side. At the end of frying, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the patties for 5-7 minutes over low heat.
- Put ready-made pumpkin and meat cutlets on a dish, garnish with fresh herbs and fresh vegetables, serve with your favorite side dish. Any porridge or potatoes are suitable as a side dish, as well as a salad of fresh vegetables.
