Shawarma came to us from the Middle East and has firmly won our hearts. Even children, who sometimes cannot be forced to eat vegetables, eat shawarma with pleasure. A variety of recipes and ingredients will allow you to show your imagination and create something special, your own. You can vary vegetables, spices and types of meat - it is recommended to use chicken, lamb or beef.

- 400 gr. chicken fillet
- pita packaging (5 pcs.)
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 medium onions Red onions are especially good.
- 2 cucumbers
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 0.5 cups salted mineral water
- 1 pod of cardamom

- for the sauce:
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened yogurt
- 2 tablespoons of water
- ground black pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the chicken fillet into strips.
Step 2
Cooking the marinade. Combine lemon juice, baking soda, finely chopped garlic, pepper, cardamom and salt.
Step 3
Place the fillet in the marinade and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 4
Fry the marinated fillet in oil until tender, but do not dry it.
Step 5
Let's make the sauce. Mix tahini, lemon juice diluted with water, yogurt and lightly pepper.
Step 6
Cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
Step 7
Peel the onion and cut into rings. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

Cut the cucumbers into strips.
Step 9
We take the pita and cut it in half, making a "pocket".
Step 10
Lubricate the "pocket" with sauce, lay vegetables, herbs, chicken fillet.

We place the ready-made "pockets" on a baking sheet and put in a preheated oven for 3 minutes.
