- 2 onions

Instructions
Step 1
To prepare paella, you need to prepare in advance, since the number of its constituent components is quite large. But the general requirement applies not to the products themselves, but to the dishes in which they will be cooked. Ideally, the paella is stewed over an open fire in a large skillet. Since it is quite difficult to implement a paella recipe over an open fire in an ordinary apartment, it remains to get a thick-walled frying pan.
Step 2
Often, lovers of delicious cooking have a question about how to cook paella with seafood. So the answer to it is quite simple: delicious paella is obtained precisely by combining the tastes of poultry or meat with seafood. First, fry the meat fillet, most often chicken and onions are taken. Seafood is boiled separately.
Step 3
After the meat component of the dish is ready, add the rice to the pan. From above it is poured with the broth in which the seafood was cooked. Add saffron or turmeric (as a cheaper substitute) there, then cook the rice until tender. Some recipes recommend adding stewed tomatoes or a couple of tablespoons of tomato sauce towards the end of cooking. Rice with this preparation becomes not only golden due to saffron, but also a little pinkish. Add salt to taste during cooking. This is not the only recipe for how to make paella. There are several dozen of them in Spain. Sometimes they combine not only raw meat and seafood, but also smoked ones. Jamon-based paella recipes also exist.
Step 4
Cooking time varies within an hour, after frying the meat, stew the rice for about 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.
