But the most popular sauce is tomato and garlic - this harmonious combination of flavors perfectly complements different dishes.

Fresh tomato and garlic spaghetti sauce

This sauce goes well with regular boiled spaghetti or other pasta. It can also be used to coat pizza cakes or make delicious sandwiches with it.

Ingredients:

- 1, 2 kg of tomatoes;

- a bunch of basil;

- 6 cloves of garlic;

- olive oil, salt, pepper.

Peel the cloves of garlic, chop it. Pour about 4-5 tbsp into the skillet. tablespoons of olive oil, heat. Place the garlic in a skillet, fry until golden brown.

Take fresh tomatoes, cut each in a crisscross pattern, scald with boiling water, remove the skin. Place the tomatoes in a skillet and crush each one directly in it with a wooden spoon. Pepper and salt the future sauce to taste. Bring the mass to a boil, strain into a separate container through a sieve, rubbing the tomatoes with a spoon.

Return the finished sauce to the pan, simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened. The prepared sauce can be consumed immediately or you can freeze it and simply reheat it if necessary.

Tomato sauce in its own juice and garlic

This sauce is best suited for pizza. It turns out to be very aromatic due to the presence of spicy spices in the recipe. You can also make delicious lasagna with it.

Ingredients:

- 1 can of tomatoes (700-800 g);

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan;

- 7 cloves of garlic;

- 2 onions;

- 1 tbsp. spoon honey;

- 1 teaspoon of dried marjoram, oregano, basil;

- pepper, salt.

Peel the onions, chop them, fry in olive oil until golden brown. Chop the garlic, send it to the onion and wait for it to smell. Once the garlic flavor has spread through the kitchen, add the peeled tomatoes. Mash the tomatoes in a skillet. The sauce should become more or less homogeneous, then you can season it: add herbs, pepper, salt and a small amount of honey.

Simmer tomato sauce over medium heat until thickened. If you want to make a completely homogeneous sauce, then rub it through a sieve, then evaporate the excess moisture again.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater, sprinkle it with hot sauce, mix thoroughly. That's it, you can grease pizza cakes with sauce or serve with main courses. Another sauce according to this simple recipe can be prepared for the winter: pour it into sterilized jars, cover with lids, keep in a water bath for 10-15 minutes, then immediately roll it up.
