Pizza is the cornerstone of Italian cooking. She is popular in many countries no less than in her historical homeland. There are many variations of it, but one of the most extraordinary is the seafood pizza. For example, with shrimp.
It is necessary to immediately make a reservation that cheese is an integral part of any of the many pizza recipes. There should be a lot of it.
There are two main recipes for shrimp pizza. To prepare the most simple one, you will need 250 g of yeast ready-made dough, 200 g of shrimp, 100 g of hard cheese, 150 g of mozzarella, 400 g of canned tomatoes, 2 tsp. sugar, 1 onion, 3-4 tbsp. l. refined olive oil, a few green onions, salt and spices to taste.
First you need to prepare products for future pizza: cut onions into rings and chop canned tomatoes using a blender or mixer. Next, fry the chopped onion in olive oil until golden brown, add tomato mass, spices, salt to it and simmer over low heat for no more than 10 minutes. At the very end, sugar and green onions should be added to the future sauce.
The characteristic sauce smell can serve as a guideline for the readiness of the tomato mass.
Then you need to boil the frozen shrimp according to the instructions on the package, cut the mozzarella into thin slices and grate the hard cheese.
The dough should be rolled out to a thickness of 0.5 cm, put in a mold covered with parchment, and sent to the oven for about 10 minutes. The resulting crust should be greased with sauce, put the shrimps on it and sprinkle with two varieties of cheese. Then the pizza must be sent back to the oven. The baking time should be 10 minutes at 220 ° C.
There is a slightly more complex shrimp pizza recipe. Pizza cooked using it turns out to be spicier and spicy, it takes more time to cook, but the result is worth the effort.
For a spicy pizza with shrimps, you need 0.5 kg of premium wheat flour, 5 large eggs, 1 glass of warm milk, 25 g of sugar, 50 g of yeast, 100 g of baking margarine, 300 g of shrimp fillets, 250 g of hot cheese, 1 onion, ketchup, 2 tbsp. l. olive oil, fresh herbs and salt to taste.
The beginning is to prepare the dough for the future pizza. In a container, you need to combine 3 beaten eggs, sugar, pre-soaked yeast, salt, warm milk and slightly melted margarine. Mix the mixture well, combine with flour, knead the dough and put it in a warm place. After an hour and a half, you need to knead it again, roll out a thin cake from it and grease it with ketchup.
Next, you need to fry the shrimps in olive oil with the addition of spices and salt and put on the prepared pizza base. On them you need to lay onion cut into thin rings, finely chopped greens and sprinkle with grated cheese. Finally, beat the remaining 2 eggs and pour them over the pizza.
The same pizza can be prepared with the addition of canned pineapples. But in this case, it should not be covered with an egg mixture.
Place the blank on a greased baking sheet or margarine and bake in a well-heated oven for about 40 minutes. The recommended temperature is 180 ° C.
Pizza should be served moderately warm, but by no means hot, since the cheese cools down for a long time and there is a chance of scalding.
