Step 1

First, prepare the dough. Mix flour, sugar, salt and yeast together and mix well. We heat the milk, but do not boil it. The milk should just be warm so that the yeast starts to ferment faster. Add sunflower oil to the milk. Mix the entire liquid mixture with a dry mixture of flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Mix everything thoroughly and put in a warm place for 20-25 minutes before lifting. You can also put it in an oven preheated to 40 degrees (in case you are in a hurry).

Then we prepare the filling. Defrost the minced meat. Add salt and pepper to it to taste.

We clean the potatoes and cut them into thin plastics. We also clean the onion and cut it into half rings.

Now everything is ready for our cake. Let's start preparing the pie itself.

The dough has already risen, and we add another glass of flour to it and knead so that the dough is elastic. We divide it into 2 parts. Roll each part to a thickness of 2-3 centimeters. On the first rolled out part of the dough, lay out the layers first with potatoes, then minced meat, onions and again potatoes. We put the onion on the minced meat so that it is juicier and absorbs all the taste of the onion.

Take the second part of the dough and cover the first part with the filling on top. We cover everything well on the sides. In the upper part of the cake, we make several holes in the dough so that the cake breathes and, accordingly, bakes well. We heat the oven to 200 degrees. While the oven is preheating, let the cake sit down so that the dough rises a little more. Brush liberally with butter before placing the pie in the oven. We remove the pie for 25-30 minutes in the oven and bake. After the cake is baked, take it out and brush it with butter again. Cover it with a towel to soften it. After 10 minutes, you can drink tea with your loved ones.
