Stewed potatoes with pork ribs are a very masculine dish. It contains a huge amount of calories. Potatoes with ribs add long-lasting satiety and have a great, full-bodied taste.
It is necessary
- • Pork ribs - 1 kg
- • Potatoes - 1.5 kg
- • Onion - 1 head
- • Garlic - 2 cloves
- • Carrots - 1 piece
- • Spices
- • Salt
- • Vegetable oil
- • Saucepan or cauldron
Instructions
Step 1
We put on the fire a large saucepan designed for frying in it, or a cauldron (the volume must be at least 3 liters). Pour in some vegetable oil. Since there is a lot of fat on the ribs, it will gradually start to melt and there will be enough of it for frying.
Step 2
Put the prepared ribs in a saucepan. In advance, the ribs had to be chopped, rinsed with running water and dried with a paper towel. Add salt and spices to taste. Ground black pepper and turmeric are well suited to this dish. Fry the ribs in boiling fat with constant stirring.
Step 3
Rub the carrots on a coarse grater, cut the onion into pieces, pass the garlic through a garlic press. We add all this to the meat, fry the vegetables.
Step 4
After the meat and vegetables have acquired a golden color, add hot water (from the kettle) so that it covers the meat by another 2-3 cm. Simmer the meat until half cooked.
Step 5
Wash potatoes, peel, cut into cubes, add to the ribs. We continue to simmer until the potatoes begin to boil and the liquid boils off by half.
Step 6
At the end of cooking, add fresh herbs, bay leaves. This dish is best served right away while it is hot. When heated, it loses its unique aroma and taste.
