Step 1

Go through the food to freeze. Select fruits, berries, vegetables of only good quality - fresh, without signs of spoilage and damage. The fish must be gutted, the meat must be cut off from excess fat. Food must be prepared in such a way that, after defrosting, it is immediately ready for use.

Step 2

Rinse food to be frozen and then dry thoroughly. Divide dill, parsley, basil, celery into small bunches and put in small 5 × 6 cm bags.

Step 3

Remove the seeds from the pepper pods, cut them into rings, or fold them into each other. Peel the carrots, chop into strips or grate on a coarse grater. Cut eggplants, cucumbers, zucchini into cubes or slices, divide cauliflower and broccoli into inflorescences. Dip corn, green peas for a few seconds in salted boiling water, then cool under running water, dry.

Make puree from soft berries (raspberries, strawberries), put in plastic jars and freeze. Or dip the berries in sugar, sprinkle on a baking sheet and place in the freezer, and when they freeze well, put them in bags.

Step 5

Cut apples, pears, peaches into small wedges, cover with chilled syrup and freeze. For 1 kg of fruit, you will need about 0.5 liters of syrup from 150 g of sugar. Plums, cherries are frozen together with seeds. Do not freeze eggs in their shells; use food ice cube trays.

Step 6

Use clean, dry plastic bags to freeze. In a bag of 10 × 8 cm, it holds on average 125 g, 20 × 8 cm - 250 g, 20 × 14 cm - 600 g. and then close tightly.

Step 7

Place foodstuffs that require further heat treatment - meat, fish, poultry - in the lower chamber. Place vegetables and berries in the middle. And put ready-made meals, dairy products (pasteurized milk, butter, cottage cheese, soft cheese) in the upper basket.
