Sitting in front of the TV, you often feel like chewing something. For lovers of a variety of snacks who do not want to harm their health, there is a way out - natural carrot chips, which are prepared in a matter of seconds.

Ingredients:

  • Carrots - 6 pcs;
  • Deep fat oil - 700 g;
  • Salt.

Preparation:

  1. Thoroughly rinse the carrots, peel them, cut them in half and chop them into thin long plates.
  2. Of course, it's good if you have a deep fryer, but if not, then we take a deep fryer and pour oil into it, heat it up to 180 degrees. As soon as our oil starts to sizzle, pour a handful of carrots into it and fry for 10-15 seconds, until the carrots turn dark brown.
  3. We take out the chips from deep fat and leave them on a paper towel to drain excess fat, dry them, salt to taste and put them in a deep bowl.
  4. In this form, these chips are already ready and you can already eat them, but for a more piquant taste, we offer you two types of sauces for carrot chips - cheese and mayonnaise.
  5. For cheese sauce, take a saucepan, pour 100 g of heavy cream into it, 1 tbsp. l. butter and 50 g grated Cheddar cheese, mix all the ingredients and put on high heat until boiling, then reduce heat and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring all the time until thickened. Serve it hot.
  6. For mayonnaise sauce, you need to mix 100 g of mayonnaise, 1 tsp in a small bowl. lemon juice and a pinch of cayenne black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, thyme and salt. Mix all this, cover with cling film and refrigerate for 6-8 hours.
