Some people really believe that only a strict diet for the rest of their lives and exhausting training will save them. And then the moment comes when they decide to lose weight. But at the same time, they want to get the result as quickly as possible, so they begin to train in the gym for 2-3 hours and eat 5 apples a day, completely removing any other food from the diet. A few days, and a person breaks down from such a "healthy" lifestyle and, under the weight of a sense of guilt, gorges on dumplings and buns. The result is plus a couple of kilos.

Time passes and everything is repeated anew. A person is starving, he slows down his metabolism, then breaks down and gains more than he lost, because his body, under the influence of hunger strike, has already begun to store fat "for a rainy day."

Don't go to extremes. Do not try to lose 10 pounds in a week. Move to a healthy lifestyle gradually, give yourself at least a month to gradually get used to new foods and new habits. Take your time and the risk of a breakdown will be much lower.

Semi-finished products

Eat only what you cook yourself. Short on cooking time - spend one day a week making quick steamy turkey patties and more. But do not eat salads from the supermarket, lecho in cans and other foods that were not prepared by you. After all, you do not know what the manufacturer put there and how useful or harmful they are. Not to mention the fact that there are cases of food poisoning from supermarkets and other establishments.

Healthly food

There are stereotypes about what foods are healthy. Moreover, they are often not backed up by anything other than fashion. For example, at first it was fashionable to blame fats for everything, now carbohydrates.

An example of a “healthy meal” is yoghurt. But if you look at the composition of the yoghurts that are sold in stores, it becomes clear that it is impossible to call them a healthy food even at a stretch. The same applies to cereals in bags, curds, etc.

When buying such goods, carefully read the composition and draw conclusions.

Impulse purchases

If you come to a store without a shopping list and carefully look at all the products on the shelves, you can buy three times more than planned. After all, merchandisers are not in vain trying to arrange goods so that buyers put the most in the basket. A separate issue is the checkout area, where you can add 2-3 more goods to your purchases while waiting for your turn. And now you have collected a ton of food that you need to eat quickly. And along the way, they could grab buns or donuts, why not, because this is the last time, and then you will definitely lose weight.

Don't take anything other than what's on your shopping list. Even if you really want to.

Liquid calories

Milk, tea with sugar, smoothies, juices and other liquid calories interfere with losing weight. Moreover, the more you drink them, the more they interfere. Of course, it's okay to have a cup of tea at lunch or juice for breakfast. But if you constantly fill your stomach with liquid calories every day, this can be a problem.

The fact is that liquids are quickly absorbed. The satiation soon passes, you feel hungry again. Meanwhile, calories build up. We drank a glass of orange juice and gained about 100 kcal. Another glass - another 100 kcal. But I still want to eat, so they added a salad and hot on top. And they seem to have eaten a little, but the weight is still gaining.

And the more it will be recruited if you drink a lot of store-bought juices with sugar and drinking yoghurts.

Household calorie consumption

Household calorie expenditure is often underestimated. A common mistake is to train until you drop twice a week, and lie on the couch the rest of the time. Meanwhile, it is the usual activities, such as washing dishes, cleaning the house, going to the store, etc., that help burn calories all the time.

Little by little get into the habit of not taking the elevator, but walking up at least a couple of floors. Do not drive everywhere by car, but take a walk.
