In Japanese cuisine, there are many roll recipes with a variety of fillings. Most of them contain fish, but there are other types of rolls that have appeared as a result of the adaptation of Japanese cuisine to other cultures. One of these types is chicken rolls, which practically do not contain classic Japanese ingredients, except for nori seaweed and sushi sauce.
It is necessary
- - 400 g of sushi rice;
- - 3-4 sheets of nori seaweed;
- - 300 g chicken fillet;
- - 300 g of cheese;
- - 6 pcs. shiitake mushrooms;
- - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar;
- - 2 tbsp. Mirin spoons;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of soy sauce;
- - salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
First, boil the Japanese rice. Then grind the chicken fillet and cook it in salted water over low heat. The mushrooms should also be boiled by adding salt, sugar, mirin and soy sauce to the water. Cut the finished mushrooms into small pieces and mix with the chicken.
Step 2
Place a sheet of nori seaweed on the bamboo mat and evenly distribute the mixture of chicken and mushroom pieces over the entire area. If desired, you can add finely chopped herbs or small pieces of fresh cucumber. Sprinkle everything with grated cheese on top.
Step 3
Gently wrap the roll, pressing lightly on the mat. Cut the finished roll into 6 equal parts. Before serving, rolls with chicken should be slightly heated in the microwave to melt the cheese a little.
