Congrio, or shrimp fish, is delicious. Dishes prepared from it are distinguished by a low fat content, which makes it possible to use this fish in dietary meals.

To cook the congrio baked in the oven, you will need the following ingredients: 1 congrio, 6 potato tubers, 1 ripe tomato, 1 medium onion, 50 ml of dry white wine, 1 tsp. rosemary, 1 tsp. basil, black pepper and salt to taste. For frying food and lubricating the mold, you will need 2 tbsp. l. olive oil and 1 tbsp. l. refined sunflower seeds.

The fish is cleaned and, having cut off the fins, thoroughly washed under running cold water. The carcass is cut across and along. The resulting pieces are dried and rubbed with a mixture of salt, rosemary and black ground pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the fish with finely chopped onions for about 10 minutes. Dry white wine is added to the fish and, covering the pan with a lid, the congrio is stewed for 5 minutes.

Cut the peeled potatoes into wedges. A baking dish is greased with vegetable oil and prepared potatoes are spread on its bottom, seasoned with basil and salted to taste. Fish and onions are carefully placed on the potatoes. The surface of the dish is evenly covered with thinly sliced peeled tomato.

The form is sent to the oven, preheated to 180 ° C, for 40 minutes. About 10 minutes before the end of cooking, you can sprinkle the grated cheese on the dish.

To prepare fried congrios, you will need the following products: 600 g congrios, 100 g wheat flour, salt and black pepper to taste. For frying fish, you will need 4 tbsp. l. refined vegetable oil. Perfectly accentuates the taste of fried tarragon shrimp.

The fish is gutted and washed in cold running water, after removing the fins. Cut the carcass into convenient portions and dry it with paper napkins. Rub each piece with a mixture of salt, tarragon and black pepper. Then the fish is left alone for a quarter of an hour.

Vegetable oil is poured into a frying pan heated over medium heat. The fish is doused in flour and fried until golden brown for 10 minutes. Toasted congrio pieces are gently turned over and fried on the other side for 5 minutes. To make sure the congrio is baked, you can cover the pan with a lid and simmer the fish for 3-5 minutes.

Serve fried shrimp fish best with rice or a side dish made with potatoes. The dish is decorated with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
