Even the most delicious meat or fish dishes sometimes require a small amount of sweet and sour sauce with hints of mustard. You can cook it in just a few minutes at home. By the way, this sauce is ideal for many salads.
It is necessary
- Ingredients for one dish (we increase them proportionally for each additional portion):
- - 6 tablespoons of olive oil;
- - 2 tablespoons of vinegar (apple or grape);
- - half a teaspoon of honey and mustard (you can use Dijon);
- - several sprigs of oregano;
- - salt and black pepper;
- - a teaspoon of finely chopped onions.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour olive oil into a large bowl, in which it will be convenient to mix the ingredients with a whisk.
Step 2
Add grape vinegar (you can replace it with wine).
Step 3
Pour in mustard - you can use Dijon or any other to taste.
Step 4
Put honey in a bowl.
Step 5
We rub the oregano in our hands so that the sauce takes on the maximum of its aroma, add to the bowl. Mix the ingredients.
Step 6
Salt and pepper the sauce to taste. Add onions.
Step 7
The sauce is ready! It can be stored for 2-3 days in the refrigerator, but not more!
