Turkey meat is an excellent dietary product rich in vitamins and protein. The turkey is perfect both for preparing dishes for a children's menu and for a festive table.
It is necessary
- - 300 g turkey fillet
- - 200 g red meat (from the thigh)
- - one small onion and carrot
- - 100 g of rice
- - 1 egg
- - greens (dill, parsley)
- - sour cream, tomato paste
- - salt to taste
- - some vegetable oil
Instructions
Step 1
After the rice has been washed, boil it until half cooked. Grind the turkey breast fillet and turkey thigh until smooth in a blender or in a meat grinder along with the onion, add rice to the minced meat, stir.
Step 2
Beat the egg slightly with a fork, chop the dill and parsley, add everything to the minced meat, salt. Mix everything well and form into small meatballs approximately 5 cm in diameter.
Step 3
Next, you can cook meatballs in several ways. Option 1 - put the meatballs in a steamer container and steam for 20-25 minutes. Option 2 - roll the meatballs in breadcrumbs and fry in a pan on both sides in vegetable oil for a few minutes.
Step 4
Separately fry the onion and finely chopped carrots in a pan, then put the meatballs on top of the vegetables and cover with one glass of warm water, add a little salt. Simmer, covered, until tender (20-25 minutes). Option 3 - cook in the same way as the previous one, but pour not with water, but with a mixture of sour cream and tomato paste in the same proportion.
Step 5
In all cases, the meatballs are soft, juicy and very tasty. Ready-made turkey meatballs can be served with rice, buckwheat, pasta, but they are also good as an independent dish.
