It is necessary

    • flour - 1200 g;
    • dry yeast - 2 tablespoons;
    • vegetable oil - 100 g;
    • eggs - 8 pieces;
    • milk - 125 g;
    • sugar - 6 tablespoons;
    • salt - 2 teaspoons.

Instructions

Step 1

Make a dough. To do this, take a third of the flour stored, sift it and combine with milk and yeast. Put 1 teaspoon of sugar in the mixture and mix well to make a pancake-like dough. Put it in a warm place for 1.5 hours to ferment.

Step 2

When the dough grows and begins to sag in the center, start kneading the dough. Sift the remaining flour into a bowl, mix with salt, heap and make a funnel into which pour the dough. Then add 7 yolks, whitewashed with sugar, and vegetable oil. Stir all ingredients. Add the last 7 whites, whisked into a strong foam.

Step 3

Knead the dough thoroughly until smooth. Put it in a warm place for 2, 5 hours, covered with a clean towel. During this time, knead the dough twice.

Step 4

Cut off a small portion of the dough to decorate the loaf. Necessarily need a braid around it, and on top of the jewelry can be any - at your discretion. Form the remaining large part into a ball. Make two braids and twist. Lubricate the loaf with squirrel at the location of the jewelry to secure them. Glue the braid around the loaf and the rest of the decorations.

Lubricate the entire surface of the loaf with yolk, loose in half with water. Place the loaf in an oven heated to 200 degrees. When the top is browned, cover it with foil and reduce the temperature to 180 degrees. Bake the loaf until tender (1 hour or more). Then turn off the oven, open it and let the loaf cool for 15 minutes.

Step 6

Take out the loaf and place it on a dish covered with napkins so that the bottom does not get wet. Cover it with a towel and leave to cool completely.
