The most common celery stew is a vegetable stew that uses the roots of the plant. Peel the celery, cut into small cubes and boil in lightly salted water until half cooked. Dice the tomatoes and mushrooms. Peel the onion, cut into rings and fry in vegetable oil until transparent.

Add celery to the fried onions, stir and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the prepared tomatoes and mushrooms, mix again and season with salt and pepper to taste. The vegetable stew is ready, it can be served as a side dish for meat, poultry or fish.

Root celery stew is prepared as follows. The root of the plant should be well washed and peeled, and then cut into small strips. Fry the plant in vegetable oil with the addition of 3 tbsp. l. water, pour with lemon juice. Stew the celery for 20 minutes. This dish will be a great find for everyone who wants to lose weight, since celery is a low-calorie plant. In addition, celery is rich in nutrients and vitamins that have a calming effect and normalize digestion.

A very tasty dish is chicken stew with celery and zucchini. Disassemble the chicken, rinse and rub with salt and pepper, then lightly fry the meat over low heat until golden brown. Meanwhile, cut the courgettes into cubes, the tomatoes into slices and the celery stalks into strips. Chop the dill finely.
