It will not be difficult for any housewife to cook chicken chakhokhbili. And if in your kitchen there is such an assistant as a multicooker, then the cooking process will be greatly simplified.

So, for cooking chicken chakhokhbili in a slow cooker, you will need the following products:

- chicken meat - 2 kg;

- onions and tomatoes - 2 pcs.;

- garlic - 3 cloves;

- tomato paste - 2 tbsp. l.;

- flour - 1 th. L.;

- juice of half a lemon;

- vegetable oil - 1 tsp;

- salt and spices to taste.

If you bought a whole chicken, rinse it and cut into large chunks. Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, put the meat and fry on the "Baking" mode for 40 minutes. Flip the chunks periodically to ensure the chicken is evenly browned.

It is worth noting that traditionally, when cooking chakhokhbili from poultry, the pieces were fried without adding excess fat and oil. Therefore, if the multicooker bowl has a good non-stick coating, the chicken is quite fatty, then fry the meat without vegetable oil, "dry."

When the "baking" mode is finished, add the onion, previously peeled and chopped, to the chicken meat. Add salt and pepper to the chakhokhbili to taste. Close the multicooker, set the "Extinguishing" mode for 30 minutes. Cooking times may vary depending on how large you cut the chicken.

10 minutes after the start of the mode, open the unit and add finely chopped tomatoes, chopped garlic to the dish, it can be passed through a press or cut with a knife (as you like), lemon juice and flour. Dilute the tomato paste with a little water, if you have any broth at home, you can use it. Pour the pasta into a multi-cooker bowl, stir the dish and leave to cook until the end of the mode. After the beep, open the multicooker and pierce a large piece of meat with a fork, if the chicken is soft, then the dish is ready. If it seems to you that the chicken is harsh, then set the "Stew" mode for another 15 minutes.

Now you know how to cook chicken chakhokhbili, and you can serve this Georgian dish with any side dish. Sprinkle greens on the meat for beauty.
