Golden muffins are a great addition to your morning cup of coffee or tea. They are able to give an amazing feeling of comfort and great mood for the whole day ahead.

- Butter - 200 grams;
- milk - 200 grams;
- chicken egg - 2 pieces;
- flour - 500 grams;
- granulated sugar - 100 grams;
- dry yeast - 25 grams (1 sachet);
- salt to taste;
- figs - 3 pieces.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a large cup and sift flour into it thoroughly, add salt, yeast and sugar. As a rule, 1 bag of yeast is designed for 1 kilogram of flour, but not for all manufacturers, so read the instructions carefully.
Step 2
Heat the milk a little in a water bath and dissolve the butter in it. To help dissolve the oil, cut it into small cubes. Watch the temperature of the milk, it should not exceed 30-35 degrees.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until frothy and add to the milk. If you want to use briquetted yeast, dilute it in milk first.
Step 4
Combine the dry and liquid parts and let the dough sit for about 15-20 minutes. It should bubble a little.
Step 5
Add small pieces of figs to the dough and stir. You can replace figs with poppy seeds or raisins. It all depends on your taste preferences.
Step 6
The consistency of the resulting dough should be slightly thicker than for pancakes.
Step 7
Grease a baking sheet with butter and spoon the dough into pancakes with a spoon. Or use special baking tins.
Step 8
Preheat oven to 180-200 degrees and bake muffins until golden brown for about 15-20 minutes.
Step 9
Pierce the muffins with a toothpick to check if the muffins are ready. If the toothpick comes out dry from the center of the muffin, you can safely start your meal, the muffins are baked.
Step 10
Serve slightly cooled.

If desired, muffins can be cut lengthwise and greased with jam, butter, condensed milk or cottage cheese. It turns out very tasty.
