Coconut is a tropical nut, from which you can make a lot of healthy and tasty dishes. One of them is milk, you can drink it yourself, make cocktails, cook Thai soups. Drinks made from coconut will perfectly quench your thirst in the heat, saturate the body with irreplaceable organic acids, lipids, vitamins.

Step 1
First, choose the “right” coconut. The most delicious nuts are large and heavy.
Step 2
It is necessary to thoroughly rinse the coconut under running water and clean it as much as possible.

We open the coconut. To do this, you need to pierce it into one of the holes and drain the liquid into a glass. I have this way of "opening" a coconut: I take a knife and hammer it right into the center of the fruit with a hammer. As soon as it goes deeper with the blade, I simply cut the coconut in half across. You will get two even halves, as in the photo.
Step 4
Pick out all the pulp from the coconut and cut it as small as possible with a knife. When separating the flesh from the shell, a brown crust may stick to it. You just need to cut it off with a knife. It is worth grinding only the white pulp.
Step 5
We throw the resulting pieces into a blender, grind into shavings.
Step 6
Pour the shavings obtained with warm water 2 cm higher, cool and send to the refrigerator for the night.
Step 7
Strain the present milk from the shavings through cheesecloth or a fine sieve. Done! you can enjoy your drink.
