Instructions
Step 1
Take the meat and rinse it under cool water. You can use any type of product: chicken cutlets cook faster, beef cutlets take longer. Dry the meat with a towel, remove films and tendons and place on a cutting board. Cut it into small pieces with a knife and place in an enamel bowl. The finer you chop the product, the tastier the cutlets will be.
Step 2
Add a chicken egg to the meat and mix, salt to taste. You do not need to use spices, as mayonnaise already contains them. Then add starch or flour to the contents, use a sieve for this, do it slowly, for 1 kg of meat you will need 200 g of dry ingredient. Stir the mixture thoroughly with a wooden spatula, making sure that there are no lumps.
Step 3
Peel the onions and cut the vegetable into small cubes. Disassemble the garlic into slices and grate each on a coarse grater or finely chop into cubes. Add to enamel bowl, put mayonnaise there. You can use any version of the sauce, made yourself or purchased from a store. Stir the ingredients. Put the container in the refrigerator for several hours, ideally for a day. In consistency, the composition should resemble pancake dough.
Step 4
Preheat a frying pan, add vegetable or olive oil to it. Spoon the cutlets like pancakes. The cooking time of meat on one side is no more than 3-4 minutes. Then stack them on a plate and serve with any side dish. The cutlets can be garnished with herbs and served with tomato sauce or whatever you like.
