Such original cookies, of course, are suitable for festive feasts, and on a children's birthday, bright sweets will definitely make a splash. For summer and spring holidays, flower-shaped cookie cutters are perfect.
It is necessary
- For cookies (for 20-30 pieces):
- - 200 g flour;
- - 1/2 lemon;
- - 25 g of starch;
- - 50 g of icing sugar;
- - 100 g of butter;
- - multi-colored lollipop caramels (with different flavors).
Instructions
Step 1
Make a dough. Sift the flour and starch into a large bowl. Cut the butter into cubes, mix with the flour mixture and rub into small crumbs with your fingers.
Step 2
Grate the zest with half a lemon and make lemon juice. Add lemon zest to the creamy flour mass, add powdered sugar, pour in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Stir thoroughly until smooth.
Step 3
The dough should be soft with a smooth surface, but firm enough to roll out. If the dough is tight, then add a little lemon juice, if too soft, place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Lightly flour the work surface and roll out the dough into a 5 mm thick layer. Cut stars out of the dough using large slotted molds. Use a spatula to spread the cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 5
Cut out the middle from the stars with small molds. Take out the neatly cut center and collect all the scraps of dough for later rolling onto the next batch of stars. Bake the cookies in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 4 minutes.
Step 6
After removing the baked goods from the oven, place a hard candy in the center of each baked item. If the holes in the stars are very large, use two candies each. Place the baking sheet back in the oven and bake for another 6-7 minutes, until light golden brown and so that the caramels melt and fill the holes.
Step 7
Make sure that the products are not overcooked and the ends of the rays are not burnt. Remove completely cooled sprockets from the paper.
