The healing properties of honey and radish have been known for a long time. Both have been used in folk medicine for a very long time both as a general tonic and as an anti-cold remedy. In this case, when the products are combined, the therapeutic effect is enhanced, which is not the case with all means. Black radish juice with honey is recommended for bronchitis and other respiratory diseases, especially if the patient has a severe hacking cough.

It is necessary

    • black radish;
    • honey;
    • sharp knife.

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the radish thoroughly. Cut off the tail. Remove part of the middle to create something like a vessel. The bottom does not need to be touched, it can only be trimmed from the outside so that the vessel can be placed. The "walls" of the resulting bowl should be moderately thin. If you leave too much from the middle, then not enough honey will fit in the vessel. If the walls are too thin, the radish juice may not be enough. The best option is to leave the walls of the large radish by about 3 cm.

Step 2

Pour honey into the resulting vessel. Fill the bowl to about half or less. Some, in the absence of honey, use sugar syrup, but in this case only radish provides a healing effect. Sugar simply makes the taste of the drug more pleasant. So if you or your patient are not intimidated by the bitter radish, sugar may not be added.

Step 3

Place a bowl of honey to infuse. It's not necessary to look for a dark place yet, just remove it from bright light. Leave the vessel alone for 4 hours. After such a time, the bowl will be filled with juice and honey, and the medicine can already be drunk. Take it 1 tablespoon 3 times a day, before meals.

Step 4

You are unlikely to use up all the juice at once, you will have to store it for some time. It is better to do this in a dark place. After a day or two, if the edges of the vessel become flabby, they can be trimmed. For the full course of treatment, several servings of this tincture may be needed. It is not worth harvesting it for future use, it is better to make a new juice when the old one runs out.

Step 5

Radish juice with honey can also be used for external use. To do this, add to the existing ingredients the same parts of vodka and table salt by weight. The resulting mixture can be used as a rubbing and warming agent for colds.
