This natural drink is beneficial for health: it lowers sugar levels, relieves insomnia, removes toxins from the body and increases appetite. Moreover, you can make kvass not only from the usual bread, but also from oats.

Classic recipe

To make kvass from oats, only natural products are required, which will not be difficult to find:

- oats, 400 grams;

- water, 3 liters;

- sugar, 3 tablespoons.

The recipe for this delicious and refreshing drink is quite simple. Rinse the oats in clean running water several times, sort through them and put them in a 3 liter jar. Pour boiled water there and add 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar. Mix well. Close the jar with gauze and place in a dry place at room temperature for three days.

After the indicated time, pour out the fermented water and refill the jar with clean boiled water. Add 1 tbsp. spoon of sugar, stir. Leave the oats the same. As in the first time, wrap the neck with gauze and put it back for another 3 days.

As a result, you will end up with a slightly cloudy liquid. Drain it into a separate container and store it in the refrigerator. You can refill the jar with water and sugar, and expect a new portion of natural kvass.

Oats have been used for a long time, they last 5-6 times.

Oat kvass with dried fruits

The recipe for such a drink differs from the classic one only in that, along with sugar, well washed dried fruits (raisins, dried apricots, prunes, dried apples) must be added to the jar. In addition, the first batch is ready for use, since the unpleasant aftertaste smooths out the sweetness of the added dried fruits.

Oat kvass with honey

In some life situations, the use of sugar is prohibited or undesirable, for example, with diabetes mellitus or diet. In this case, healthy and natural kvass can be made with honey.

Prepare the following ingredients:

- water, 3 liters;

- oats, 1 kilogram;

- yeast, 50 grams;

- honey, 100 grams.

Rinse oats several times in clean water and chop with a blender. Along with the bran, transfer the resulting flour to a clay pot, fill it with hot water and put in a heated oven for 3-4 hours.

After the specified time, strain the water through a sieve, then pour it into a clean 3 liter jar. Add warm water, yeast and honey there. Wrap the neck with gauze and leave in a cool, dry place for a day. Store the resulting kvass from oats in the refrigerator.
