During the onset of colds, onions are the most effective remedy for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. The daily consumption of this vegetable will help maintain our body in good shape. Onion caviar can be served as an appetizer or as a main course.

- 4 onions
- 2 carrots
- 50 g tomato paste
- 30 g corn oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- a pinch of black and red peppers

Step 1
Remove the husks from the bulbs. Cut them in half and chop finely with a knife on a cutting board.
Step 2
We clean the carrots with a vegetable peeler and rub it on a fine grater.
Step 3
Preheat the pan, pour corn oil on the bottom.
Step 4
Put finely chopped onion in a preheated pan and sauté for 15 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Put tomato paste, carrots, salt and spices on top of the onion. Close the lid and simmer for 10 minutes with the lid closed.
Step 6
Mix all the ingredients and bring to readiness, lasting about 5-7 minutes.
