Chicken breast under a fur coat is a dish that even a novice housewife can handle. Thanks to the combination of ingredients, it turns out to be very unusual and delicious in taste. Perfect for both a family dinner and a festive table. In terms of the cooking method, it is a little like French meat, and, supplemented with potatoes, it also turns out to be very satisfying.

It is necessary

  • For cooking you will need:
  • - chicken breast - 1 pc.;
  • - tomato - 1 pc.;
  • - raw potatoes - 2 - 3 pcs;
  • - onion - 1 pc.;
  • - hard cheese - 100 g;
  • - mayonnaise;
  • - sunflower oil.

Instructions

Step 1

We disassemble the chicken breast into fillets, removing the bones and skin, after which we rinse it with cold water and dry it with a paper towel. Then, with a sharp knife, cut the fillet into portioned pieces about one and a half cm thick and beat off with a hammer or tenderizer. You don't need to beat hard, the pieces should keep their shape. To prevent the meat from scattering when beating and not sticking to the hammer, you can cover it with a plastic bag or cling film. Place the chops on a baking sheet or heavy-bottomed skillet.

Step 2

We wash the potatoes, clean them, rub them on a fine grater and spread them in an even layer over the chicken fillet. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.

Step 4

We peel the onion and cut it into very thin rings, which we spread over the tomatoes.

The resulting layers are generously coated with mayonnaise, this will give the dish incredible juiciness.

Cheese (it is better to take hard with a low fat content) rub on a coarse grater and sprinkle it on the dish on top.

Step 6

Preheat the oven to about 180 degrees (by the way, it is better to do this in advance) and send the form into it for about half an hour. During this time, the breast and potatoes should reach readiness. If this does not happen, you also need to leave the dishes in the oven for another 10-15 minutes. You can serve chicken breast under a fur coat as a wealthy snack, or in combination with mashed potatoes.
