  • Ingredients for 35-40 rings:
  • - 90 gr. butter;
  • - 110 gr. Sahara;
  • - a bag of vanilla sugar (about 7-10 gr.);
  • - a pinch of salt;
  • - zest of 1 orange;
  • - 2 teaspoons of orange juice;
  • - 1 large egg and 1 yolk;
  • - 200 gr. flour;
  • - half a teaspoon of baking powder;
  • - icing sugar.

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease a baking sheet with oil or cover with baking paper.

Step 2

Put butter at room temperature in a bowl and beat with a mixer. Add sugar (regular and vanilla), beat until an airy mass is obtained for several minutes.

Step 3

Add the lemon zest and beat the mixture again. Pour in orange juice, egg and yolk, beat lightly and add salt, flour and baking powder. Knead the elastic dough.

Step 4

Fill a pastry bag or a regular bag with a cut-off corner with the dough. Squeeze the dough into a baking sheet in the form of rings, leaving a distance of 1-1.5 cm between them.

Step 5

We bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes to brown. We put the rings on the wire rack to cool down. Decorate with powdered sugar.
