Chicken chahan is a fairly popular dish from China. It differs from traditional rice in the abundance of ingredients and delicious taste. That being said, it is important to try not to overdry the chicken breast while cooking. No one will remain indifferent to this wonderful Chinese dish.

Ingredients:

  • pepper - 1 pinch;
  • salt - 1 pinch;
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp;
  • soy sauce - 2 tablespoons;
  • green beans - 200 g;
  • red pepper - 1 pc;
  • ginger - 1 tsp;
  • green onions - 2 pcs;
  • egg - 2 pcs;
  • chicken fillet - 2 pcs;
  • rice - 1 cup.

Preparation:

First you need to boil the rice. To do this, pour cereal into a saucepan and rinse it thoroughly several times. As a result, the water should be clear. The final water level before cooking should be two fingers higher than the rice. It takes about 7 minutes to cook.

Next, remove the pan from heat and hold it under a closed lid for 15 minutes to let the rice infuse better. Meanwhile, rinse the fillets in cool running water and cut into small pieces. If you wish, you can beat them off with a special hammer.

Preheat a skillet with unscented vegetable oil. Fry the prepared fillets on both sides. Finally, sprinkle with pepper and salt to taste. Put the meat on a clean plate, add the ginger and green onions, mix everything lightly.

Now fry the boiled rice, diced peppers and beans in a skillet. Fry for a few minutes without getting carried away with this process. 3-5 minutes will be enough. Place the mixture on a plate with the meat.

Beat the chicken eggs with a tablespoon of water. Place the egg mass in a skillet and fry in oil, stirring constantly with a wooden or silicone spatula. Add slightly cooled rice, vegetables, chicken to the eggs in the pan. Cook for 3 minutes with a little soy sauce and sugar. The rice should turn out to be crumbly, slightly fried, yellowish from soy sauce.

Place the chahan with chicken in portioned cups on top of the lettuce and garnish with fresh herbs. You can sprinkle with, for example, fried sesame seeds and serve hot with milk.
