Pork roll with finely chopped dill is a great dish for a festive or casual dinner. This unusual dish is a must-try for those who like to surprise their loved ones with new culinary solutions.
Ingredients:
- Lean pork pulp slices - 8 pieces;
- Fine salt;
- Chopped dill - 3 tablespoons;
- Tomato puree or chili sauce - 3 tablespoons;
- Ghee - 2 tablespoons;
- Freshly ground black pepper;
- Broth - 400 g;
- Flour - ½ teaspoon.
Preparation:
- It is necessary to put the pork slices on a cutting table, well cleaned. Season the pieces well with salt and sprinkle with pepper. Place one teaspoon of dill and one teaspoon of tomato puree (paste) or chili sauce on each slice. You can use both.
- The seasoned pieces of pork should be rolled into rolls and secured with cocktail sticks or canapé skewers. Or you can use sewing thread instead of sticks.
- Then melt the ghee in a large skillet. Fry the rolls on all sides in a pan. Add a little broth to the rolls and then wait for the broth to soak into the pork rolls. You can shake the pan to prevent the rolls from sticking. The procedure must be repeated two times and each time wait until the broth is absorbed.
- Pour the remaining broth over the rolls and simmer them in a skillet, covered with a lid. Cooking time is about 20 minutes for the pork to become juicy and tender. Then you need to drain the broth from the pan.
- Dry the flour in a preheated pan until yellowish, then cool and dilute the flour with part of the chilled meat broth. Then pour into the remaining broth and cook the sauce until thickened. Make sure that the sauce is brown and slightly shiny.
- Remove sticks or thread from rolls. Serve pork rolls with dill in sauce with fried potatoes.
