Stewed chicken with boiled buckwheat is a dish that can be prepared for any family dinner. It is quickly prepared in a multicooker and does not require special material costs. If there is no multicooker, then you can cook all the ingredients on the stove.

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts;
  • 10 cherry tomatoes;
  • 1 teaspoon chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons of soy sauce
  • 2 pinches of cayenne pepper
  • 3 pinches of curry;
  • ½ onion;
  • olive oil.

Side dish ingredients (per 2 servings):

  • 140 g buckwheat flakes;
  • 2 pinches of salt;
  • 400 ml of water.

Additional ingredients (per 2 servings):

  • 2 carrots;
  • 2 teaspoons of mayonnaise;
  • 2 ripe tomatoes;
  • salt and black pepper.

Preparation:

  1. Peel the onion and cut into a small cube.
  2. Rinse the breasts under water, remove the skin, cut into medium cubes and place in any bowl. Then drizzle with soy sauce and chili sauce, season with curry, add onion cubes. Stir with your hands until the products are evenly distributed.
  3. Add olive oil to the multicooker container, and put chicken cubes into the oil. Cover the contents of the multicooker with a lid and set the "frying" mode for 5 minutes, then open the lid and cook in the same mode for another 5 minutes.
  4. After this time, cut the cherry tomatoes in half and add to the chicken in a slow cooker. Mix everything, cover and cook for 25 minutes, turning on the "simmering" mode.
  5. Pour buckwheat flakes into a saucepan, add water, season with salt and simmer until tender.
  6. Turn off the finished buckwheat, hold it for 5-10 minutes under the lid, then put it in portions on plates.
  7. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, chop into slices and put on boiled buckwheat.
  8. Peel and wash both carrots, chop on a coarse grater and put in a salad bowl. Add salt, pepper and mayonnaise to them, mix everything thoroughly, divide into two parts and put on plates with buckwheat.
  9. After that, add pieces of stew there, and pour the buckwheat with a juicy and tender gravy from under the meat.
  10. Ready chicken with buckwheat porridge and vegetables should be immediately served with your favorite bread!
