Ingredients:

  • 300-400 g of minced meat;
  • 1 ripe tomato;
  • 1 eggplant;
  • 1 egg;
  • ½ onion;
  • ½ cup buckwheat flakes;
  • dill or parsley (optional);
  • black sesame seeds;
  • 100-150 g of bacon.

Preparation:

  1. Wash a small eggplant, dry with a paper towel, chop with either a fork or a knife. Then put on a plate and place in the microwave for 3-4 minutes. If the eggplant is medium to large, then cook it for 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Remove the finished eggplant from the microwave, let cool, then cut into small cubes.
  3. Pour boiling water over the tomato, peel and cut into cubes. Cut the onion in the same way as the tomato.
  4. Defrost minced meat, put in a bowl, mash with a fork. Add a raw egg, buckwheat flakes, cubes of eggplant, tomato and onion to it. Mix everything until smooth, seasoning with salt and black pepper. If desired, chopped herbs, such as dill or parsley, can be added to the minced meat. You should get a juicy and beautiful filling for meat croissants.
  5. Cut the bacon into thin strips. Place 5 strips of bacon overlapping each other. Form the most ordinary cutlet from the minced meat, put it on the bacon and wrap it, forming a croissant. Repeat until all the ingredients are finished.
  6. Put the formed croissants on a baking sheet, sprinkle with black sesame seeds and send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Note that the baking time is indicated approximately, since each oven has its own characteristics that must be taken into account.
  7. After this time, remove the baked meat croissants from the oven, put on a dish, garnish with herbs and serve.
