  • -400 g white cabbage;
  • -1 head of onion;
  • -1 potatoes;
  • -3 tbsp. l. semolina;
  • -2 tbsp. l. wheat groats;
  • -1 tsp salt;
  • -2 garlic cloves;
  • -3 tbsp. l. bread crumbs;
  • -1 tbsp. l. sunflower oil;
  • -spices to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

To cook cabbage patties, you should cut the vegetable as small as possible. Some housewives grind cabbage with a blender - it's a matter of taste.

Step 2

Place the chopped cabbage in a saucepan, pour boiling water over, cover and let stand for 60 minutes. This is necessary in order for the vegetable to soften.

Step 3

Put the cabbage in a colander, let the excess liquid drain.

Step 4

Peel onions and potatoes, chop vegetables on a shredder, add to cabbage.

Step 5

Squeeze the garlic into the vegetable mass, add semolina, salt and spices.

Step 6

Slowly add flour into the composition and knead the dough for cabbage patties. You can (and even need to) stir the mass with your hands dipped in cold water.

Form cutlets from the finished dough and, roll them in breadcrumbs, put in a frying pan.

If you cook cabbage cutlets in a large amount of oil, then they will turn out with an appetizing golden brown crust. For those who do not like too fried foods, it is recommended to cook the food with a minimum amount of oil, covering the pan with a lid.
