The advantages of a microwave oven are convenience and quick cooking. Usually only pizza is baked at home. However, adhering to some rules, you can cook products from any type of dough in the microwave.
Instructions
Step 1
Decide the first thing on a baking dish. This should be a microwave-safe dish. Choose pans with high sides, as dough rises better in the microwave than in the oven. For the same reason, fill the form only halfway. Try using a mold with a hole in the center to get started, as the first time it is difficult to determine if the cake is evenly baked. It is also convenient to use glassware. It is easier to assess the degree of readiness of the dish in it. Do not put a lid on the dish.
Step 2
Preferably bake one porous layer if you are making cake or pastries, and then cut it into 2 to 4 cakes. Grease the bottom of the dish or line it with baking paper. You do not need to sprinkle the dishes with flour.
Step 3
Make some changes to the cooking technology if you have chosen a recipe for a conventional oven. Stir the ingredients more thoroughly, especially for shortcrust pastry. It is desirable that all foods are at room temperature. The sugar in the dough must completely dissolve, otherwise it may burn out during the baking process. Increase the amount of liquid in the dough in the following ratio: 1 tbsp. spoon for 1 egg.
Step 4
Place the shape in the center of the rotating stand. If you are baking buns, buns or pies, place them in a circle at the same distance from each other. Bake pies with filling, dense dough products at a microwave power of 400 - 500 W. The oven door can be opened at any time without the fear that the dough will fall off. Reduce cooking time 2 - 3 times compared to traditional roasting.
Step 5
When determining the readiness of a dish, do not rely on its appearance. Pierce the piece with a wooden stick. It must be dry. Please note that the baking process continues for some time even after you remove the dish from the microwave. Therefore, take the dish out of the oven, even if the middle seems a little damp. Leave the baked goods to cool at room temperature for 5 to 20 minutes. If you overexpose the dish in the oven, the dough will become dry and tough.
