Cheesecakes (in other words, curds) are a traditional dish of Russian cuisine. In appearance, the delicacy resembles pancakes. Cheesecakes are a great breakfast for the whole family, as both adults and children love them. Many hostesses add flour to the dough for cottage cheese, but if this is not done, they will turn out to be more tender and tasty.

It is necessary

  • - 500 grams of cottage cheese (extremely crumbly);
  • - two chicken eggs;
  • - 1/3 cup sugar;
  • - four tbsp. spoons of rolled oats;
  • - two tbsp. tablespoons of semolina;
  • 1/2 cup raisins (or any other dried fruit)

Instructions

Step 1

It is necessary to put cottage cheese in a deep cup (remember, cottage cheese should in no case sour and have any foreign odors, only in this case the cheese cakes will turn out delicious), add two eggs to it (if the eggs are large, then you can limit yourself to one) and sugar. Mix everything until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Step 2

Now you need to prepare the rolled oats. For cheesecakes, it is better to use the most common one (not the one that is in boxes with various additives and is quickly prepared). So, you need to grind it with a blender so that the flakes become about half the size, then add four tablespoons of chopped oatmeal to the prepared curd mass, as well as a couple of spoons of semolina. Mix everything.

Step 3

If desired, you can add raisins or any other dried fruits that have been well washed and chopped beforehand into the dough. The cheesecakes are quite tasty with prunes and dried apricots.

Step 4

The last step is frying. It is necessary to heat a thick-bottomed frying pan over high heat, pour a little refined vegetable oil into it, then gently form small cakes from the curd mass and fry them on both sides over moderate heat. To make the syrniki better baked and tender, it is necessary to cover them for a minute with a lid at the end of frying and reduce the heat to a minimum. The cheesecakes are ready, now they can be served.
