Cheese crackers are a great snack option. You can take them with you to work or school, or just enjoy their delicate cheesy taste over a cup of tea.
- 130-150 gr oil drain
- one egg (plus one yolk for lubrication)
- a piece of Russian cheese (about 100-120 gr)
- about 200 grams of flour
- a pinch of salt
1. Cut the butter from the refrigerator into small pieces.
2. Add the sifted flour, egg and salt to the butter.
3. Mix and grind this mass with a blender.
4. Then add finely grated cheese and quickly knead the cheese dough so that the butter does not melt.
5. Put the dough in a bag and put it in the cold for an hour.
6. Cold dough should be rolled out thinly (about 0.5 cm).
7. Cut the cookies. You can make classic round crackers, or you can use various shapes (such curly cookies will especially appeal to children). Pierce each cracker in several places with a toothpick.
8. Mix the yolk with a spoonful of water and brush over each cheese cracker.
9. Bake crackers on a sheet covered with paper and oiled.
10. Bake for 10-15 minutes at t 190 degrees.
Homemade cheese crackers are much tastier than purchased ones.
