There are several varieties of beets - fodder, sugar, table and leaf. It is very useful, especially when young, due to its unique composition.
Beetroot improves digestion, helps with heart problems, and normalizes blood pressure. We add beets to various salads, first courses.
Cooking process
We take all the vegetables, wash and peel them. Then three beets on a coarse grater. We pass the tomatoes through a meat grinder. Cut the onion into cubes and fry in a pan in heated sunflower oil for 10 minutes. Cut the bell pepper into cubes, finely chop the greens. We take a saucepan (aluminum), spread our sautéed onion, then add ground tomatoes, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, chopped garlic, finely chopped parsley, suneli hops, bell pepper to it, mix well and put on fire, wait 10 minutes, until the mixture boils.
Then add grated beets to our mixture, mix, cover, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 45-50 minutes. If necessary, the salad must be placed in sterilized jars, placed upside down and wrapped. Such beets can be rolled up for the winter or consumed daily.
