Delicacies such as squid and shrimp are becoming very popular. At first glance, they are not very appetizing, but nevertheless, the dishes with them turn out to be very original and unique. I suggest you cook cold borscht with squid.
It is necessary
- - beets - 500 g;
- - squids - 500 g;
- - fresh cucumbers - 2 pcs;
- - green apples - 2 pcs;
- - hard-boiled eggs - 2 pcs;
- - dill - 1 bunch;
- - boiled water - 1 l;
- - green onions - 1 bunch;
- - black bread - a slice;
- - sugar;
- - vinegar;
- - sour cream;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
With the beets, do the following: rinse, place in a pot of water, and cook until cooked.
Step 2
After the beets are cooked, remove them from the water and let cool. Once it has cooled, cut the skin off and cut into thin strips.
Step 3
Put the chopped beets in a separate cup and fill it with boiled water, but always cold. Then add a piece of black bread to the beets. Cover the cup with a lid and leave in this state for 24 hours in a cool place.
Step 4
After the time has elapsed, strain the resulting infusion and add sugar, salt and vinegar to your taste.
Step 5
Boil squids. To do this, pour water into a saucepan, add salt and put the previously peeled squid there. Cook them for 4 minutes, then cut into strips.
Step 6
Combine the following ingredients: diced apples and cucumbers, chopped herbs, mashed boiled eggs and squid with a fork. Mix everything thoroughly, then add beet infusion to the resulting mixture. Add sour cream to taste. Cold squid borscht is ready!
