Whatever the reasons - exotic dishes, different taste nuances, methods of heat treatment or richness of seafood - Chinese cuisine still attracts attention. Even when I'm simply tired of some spring salad or Caesar. Are you ready to try it?
It is necessary
-
- 350g bean sprouts (canned)
- 230g bamboo shoots (canned)
- 425g mango (canned)
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 stalk of leeks
- 6 tablespoons sunflower oil
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons mango juice
- pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare fresh vegetables - cut one bell pepper into diamonds and one small leek stalk into thin rings. In Chinese salads, vegetables are often cut either into cubes, or thin plates, or into thin strips obliquely. Beets, carrots, different types of radish, tomatoes, bell peppers are among the most familiar products for us in salads. Both raw and thermally processed (usually quick roast). Tomatoes are necessarily freed from the seed part. From seemingly European, but less often used in our cuisine, Chinese cabbage, celery, leeks, red peppers, peas are often found.
Step 2
The essential ingredients of Chinese salads are typical Asian vegetables - bean sprouts, soybeans, beans, bamboo shoots, ginger. They are used either canned, or raw, or boiled for 3 minutes, or fried in hot oil, also for a short time. For our example, take canned bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, and mango shoots. Separate all canned food from the liquid, let drain, and cut into pieces. Cut the mango into cubes. Combine all chopped vegetables in a salad bowl.
Step 3
Often, various meats are added to Chinese salads - boiled or fried chicken, meat, fish, various seafood, as well as boiled egg or rice noodles. The meat is usually cut into thin slices, strips and fried very quickly in hot oil. In this example, these ingredients are missing, so this step is skipped.
Step 4
Well, the most interesting thing in Chinese salads is the various dressings. Without them, you get the most common European salad. The dressings add the national flavor to the salads, the necessary pungency and aroma. In dressings for Chinese salads, various types of vinegars (rice, for example), soy sauces, hot spices, often ginger, horseradish, powder and grain mustard, sesame or olive oil, sesame are used as a base. sauce and mango juice, add pepper to taste. Season prepared vegetables and Chinese sprout salad and mango is ready!
