Country-style potatoes are such a delicious dish, crispy on top, with a ruddy crust, and melting in the mouth, soft inside. We will try to make rustic potatoes in the oven. We will bake it exclusively with natural spices, with a minimum of fat, without flavor enhancers and flavors. You can use this dish as a side dish with chicken legs or baked wings.
It is necessary
- a mixture of spices for vegetables (black pepper, celery root, thyme, coriander, basil, parsley, oregano) - 3 tablespoons;
- potatoes - 1 kg;
- vegetable oil - 0.5 cups.
Instructions
Step 1
To make country-style potatoes, select tubers of the same size, wash them in water. Peel. Rinse again in cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
Step 2
In a wide, large bowl, combine the butter and seasoning mixture. Slice each potato lengthwise into 4 pieces. You should definitely get even, long slices.
Step 3
Place the country-style potatoes in an oily, very distinctive "marinade" and mix thoroughly. Each slice should be evenly soaked.
Step 4
Put the potatoes on a baking sheet, try to leave a small distance between the pieces. Drizzle over the rest of the oil.
Step 5
Place the dish in a preheated 220oC oven and bake the country style potatoes for 25 minutes until golden brown.
Step 6
Remove the baking sheet and serve immediately as a stand-alone dish or as a side dish for pollock, fried flounder, chicken legs or wings, etc.
